Meet the Team

Dr. Thomas J. DeStefano has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has been in his own practice since 1996 in Pittsford, New York. Dr. DeStefano specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He uses his continuous learning to implement the latest techniques and technology within his practice.

Dr. DeStefano and the team at DeStefano Dentistry focus on TMJ treatment, implants, sleep apnea treatment and more! Dr. DeStefano is a member of the American Dental Association®, the New York State Dental Association, Monroe County Dental Society and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. In addition, Dr. DeStefano is a Six Month Smiles® short-term orthodontic provider.

Education
Dr. DeStefano is a graduate of Gannon University and holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He achieved his dental degree through the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as well as completing a General Practice Residency at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York.

Dr. DeStefano has set himself apart by choosing the path of a lifelong learning journey by doing numerous hours of continuing education.

Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI-Trained Dentist)
Most recently he has completed the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies’ Core Curriculum series and earned the distinction of LVI Fellowship, which is awarded only to doctors who successfully completed all seven core courses and pass a comprehensive exam. This commitment distinguishes Dr. DeStefano for his dedication to providing quality care and a desire to master complex procedures in order to provide the best comprehensive care for his dental patients.

Dr. DeStefano resides in Webster, New York, with his wife, Kim. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outside, whether on the golf course, in the woods or on the lake.

Diane is a registered dental hygienist, working in the field for over 20 years. She graduated from Monroe Community College in dental hygiene. Diane resides in Victor with her three children.

Stephanie is a dental hygienist, working in the dental field for over 21 years. She began her career as a dental assistant and began in hygiene following her graduation in 2002 from Monroe Community College. She loves educating her patients and helping them to love their smile. Stephanie resides in Victor with her two children.

Emily is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and is licensed by New York State. She has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Emily also went through the Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies (LVI) Core Curriculum. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and visiting Cape Cod annually. Emily resides in Rochester with her fiancé and her dog, Dimples.

Alysha is certified by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and received dental assistant training at BOCES. She attended Keuka College as a bio-med major. She has had a passion to be in the dental field since she was a child. Her favorite things to do are kayaking and hiking.

Ingrid was born in the Caribbean. She studied business administration, and she has been working in the
dental field for over 12 years now. She is bilingual and speaks Spanish. In her free time, she loves to go camping, enjoys hiking and playing volleyball with her daughter.

Briel grew up in the small town of Wolcott, New York. She currently resides in Rochester with her Golden Retriever, Molson. She enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
